When is good to check ECPKA / CRP ?

1.  Health checkup for elderly dogs

2. When a mass is observed on the examination

3. When monitoring cancer treatment

4. Clinical symptoms of unknown cause (fever, vomiting, diarrhea, etc.)

What is the test principle of the cancer test kit?

The basic principle of the test is to quantitatively evaluate the autoantibodies of ECPKA. ECPKA is an abbreviation for extracellular protein kinase A. In normal cells, PKA exists in the cell and does not leak out of the cell, but in tumor cells, PKA is leaked out of cancer cells to form antibodies against it, and it is detected in serum.

Existing cancer test kits diagnosed malignant tumors by measuring autoantibodies of PKA (ECPKA)  leaking out of the cells in the serum.

This kit measures the concentration of ECPKA, IgG concentration in serum, and CRP concentration at the same time, and displays the possibility of cancer by calculating the AI (ANDES by Lee)  learned by age, breed, sex, underlying disease, and administered drug.

Why are immunoglobulins (antibodies) measured?

ECPKA is a type of immunoglobulin. Therefore, when antibody production is reduced by drugs or diseases that affect the immune system, the concentration of ECPKA decreases despite the presence of cancer.

To correct this, the immunoglobulin value is measured. In addition, it is a good indicator of the patient's immunity status through the immunoglobulin value.

What graph is provided in the CRP result ?

This is a graph created statistically based on data with AniScan CRP kit.

You can visually check the range of the current test results.
