What are the advantages of the AnyScan CRP kit

inspection?

Using AniScan's unique patented technology, it shows a wider range of measurements (up to 500mg/L) compared to other systems. In addition, CRP can be measured very easily and conveniently by using the same test method as the existing AniScan kit test.

What is CRP?

Canine C-reactive protein (CRP) is a type of acute-phase protein produced by the liver.

This protein is a very sensitive marker for inflammation in dogs.

It does not indicate the path of inflammation or infection in a particular organ. CRP appears very quickly in the early stages of inflammation (4-6 hours) and reaches its highest concentration after about 12-24 hours, regulating the body's immune response to tissue damage.

Q. My dog has severe liver disease, will it affect the CRP results?

Although CRP is produced in the liver, a normal CRP response has also been observed in patients  with severe liver failure. Additionally, changes in total protein concentration do not affect CRP.

Q.  Do steroid drugs affect CRP?

Steroids have been known to lower CRP results.

Q.  Can cats be tested for CRP?

No. The CRP test is only available in dogs.

What graph is provided in the result ?
